Jane Pratt is an icon for a reason. She founded magazines I read when I was younger, Sassy and Jane. She is like your intelligent, beautiful best friend, writing in conversational ways that feel personal, strong and true.
Rethink with Rachel is a mix of powerful writing and inspired action. It really does make me rethink a lot, and Rachel’s posts stay with me long after I finish reading.
Language is so interesting and impactful in ways we frequently do not see. I love Everybody Talks for the ways it tells memorable stories about words and the way they work. Everybody Talks puts a spotlight on the fascinating beauty of language.

I love words. This blog is full of gorgeous thoughtful stories about words! I found a German word for something I have experienced my whole life - vorfreude. Vorfreude is the joy you experience while you are looking forward to something… I am so happy to have a word for it.
So Relatable starts like that funny conversation with a friend and ends with “wow, that was life changing.” I especially appreciate the idea of figuring out how and why and whether to commit to a long term project. Thank you for what you put out into the world.
