We are thrilled to introduce the latest learning lab in our series.
We continue with our theme: People Based Learning - Where might we start?
Not with answers 👉 with questions.
We are sharing our emerging findings and work around the country that aligns. These interactive labs will provide insights into facets of People Based Learning that you can take and use in your work, school or life.
Learning Lab #2: Qualities of a Good Role Model 11/1, 12-12:45pm EST
👉What qualities do young people look for in a role model?
The benefits of young people being able to identify and emulate suitable role models is well established in current academic literature. Shelby Clark and Danny Mucinskas from The Good Project, a research initiative at Harvard University’s Project Zero, will discuss their recent research in partnership with a global teacher community of practice focused on exploring “good work” with adolescents. They will present findings about how students around the world described and identified their own role models and the qualities they attributed to them, with implications for educators and schools.
Role models play a unique and essential role in People Based Learning.
Join us for Lab #2. Register here for Lab #2.
Learning Labs are free for our School of Thought community. Recordings will be available to School of Thought members.
To support our goal to connect, we are limiting registration to these gatherings.
